FRP refers to plasticity material, now generally refers to artificial plastics, that is, made of resin plus various additives. If there is no additive in the resin, it can not be called plastic, it can only be called resin.

FRP tanks have the advantages of pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and long service life. It has the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, impermeability, heat insulation, non-toxicity, and smooth surface. FRP tanks can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, textile, printing and dyeing, electric power, transportation, food brewing, artificial synthesis, water supply and drainage, seawater desalination, irrigation, and national defense engineering industries.
