Stainless steel flange fittings are made of steel plates. After the steel plate is cut into material according to the requirements, it is shaped like UOE, and it is also punched into a circle by punching die. Two halves are then joined and welded. After pushing, the flange should be shaped in this hot state. After shaping, the outer diameter and wall thickness of flange fittings meet the requirements. Next, the finishing process is carried out. After shot peening, the iron oxide scale on the inner and outer surfaces of flanged pipes is removed, and the grooves on both ends are processed to facilitate welding. After checking, typing, painting, packaging and other processes, you can leave the factory.
Stainless steel flanged pipes have more flaw detection and heat treatment processes than other pipes in the manufacturing process. The other procedures are the same. It is not allowed to distort the flanges because they are not handled properly. In addition, the front end of the push head is usually large outside diameter, which needs to be shaped through the shaping die. Because of the existence of welds, non-destructive testing should be carried out. Because of the existence of welding stress, heat treatment is also needed.
There are also many ways to process stainless steel flanges. Many of them also belong to the category of mechanical processing. The most commonly used methods are stamping, forging, roller processing, rolling, bulging, stretching, bending and combined processing.
