According to the Japanese Embassy in China, the Japanese Ministry of Finance decided not to grant the GSP preferential tariffs on China's goods exported to Japan since April 1, 2019. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. Since April 1, 2019, the Customs will no longer issue the GSP Certificate of Origin and related Japanese processing certificate for the goods exported to Japan.
2. If the consignor of the goods in Japan needs the certificate of origin, he may apply for the issuance of a non-preferential certificate of origin.
