1. The upper cover structure: the upper cover of the reaction kettle is a sealing head, and the upper cover of the stirring tank is usually a flat cover, which can be half-opened, rarely in the form of a head.
2. Observation medium mode: The reaction kettle observes the mixing condition of the materials in the kettle through the mirror. The reaction stir tank is observed through the semi-open cover or manhole of the upper flat cover, and the observation range is much larger than that of the reaction vessel.
3. Sealing: The reactor often needs to be vacuumed or operated under a certain pressure. It is necessary to install a mechanical seal to meet the requirements. The mixing tank can be sealed with ordinary packing.
4. Heating device: The reactor needs to heat the jacket, or the coil is heated and cooled, that is, the stirring and mixing process of the medium is completed under the condition of temperature, and the stirring tank is usually only used as a simple stirring mixing device and does not participate in the reaction. The process does not require heating.
5. Cost: The structure of the stirred tank is relatively simple and directly reflected in the production cost, so the reactor of the same specification is also sold at a higher price than the stirred tank.
6. The overall structure: the overall structure of the mixing tank is simpler than the reaction kettle, and the preparation is convenient and the operation is simple.
The stainless steel stirred tank and the reaction kettle can be used for the mixed reaction of liquid-liquid and solid-liquid materials in practical production applications, and the installation method is similar.
