Tenon and grooved surface flange
Advantages: It consists of the tenon surface and the groove surface. The gasket is placed in the groove and will not be squeezed out of the pressing surface, and is less eroded and corroded by the medium. Due to the narrow sealing surface, the required bolt force is small, which is suitable for occasions with higher pressure and strict sealing requirements, such as flammable, explosive and high or extremely hazardous toxic media. Disadvantages: The structure is complicated, the gasket is easily squeezed in the groove and is not easy to remove, and it is difficult to replace the gasket. It should also be noted that the tenon surface flange is protected during transportation to avoid collision deformation.
Ring joint surface flange.
Advantages: The ring joint surface is mainly used on the welding neck flange and the integral flange. The sealing performance is good, the installation requirements are general, and it is used in high temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
Disadvantages: The processing accuracy of the sealing surface is extremely high.
