The transmission device of mixing tank includes motor, transmission, coupling, bearing, and frame, etc. Among them, the mixing driving mechanism usually adopts the combination of motor and speed converter or the motor with frequency converter to achieve the required speed of mixing.

The stirring shaft of a stirring tank is usually driven by a motor.

Because the speed of mixing equipment is generally relatively low, the motor is mostly combined with the transmission, and sometimes the frequency converter is used for direct speed regulation. Therefore, when choosing a motor, special consideration should be given to matching with the transmission.

The function of the agitating tank transmission device is to make the agitating shaft rotate at the required speed and to ensure the required torque of the agitating shaft. In most stirring equipment, there is only one stirring shaft, and the stirrer rotates in one direction at a constant speed. However, there is some special mixing equipment, in order to obtain better mixing effect, two mixing shafts can be used in mixing equipment, and the mixer can carry out complex movements, such as reciprocating, reciprocating, planetary and so on.

In order to eliminate the swirling phenomenon of liquid in stirring vessel and make the stirred liquid turn up and down to achieve uniform mixing, it is usually necessary to add baffles in stirring vessel.

Usually increasing the number of baffles counts its width, the power consumption will also increase, but after increasing to a certain value, the power consumption will not increase, at this time the working condition is called "full baffle condition". In the agitating vessel, the fluid can flow to the agitator in all directions. The length of the fluid stroke varies. When the velocity and direction of the reflux need to be controlled, the guide tube can be used to determine a certain flow condition.
